公演の翌日、ホテルを移動し、トリノの街を散策。
The day after the performance,
I moved to a different hotel and spent some time strolling through the streets of Turin.

I stepped into a church that caught my attention.

At the Giardini Reali di Torino — “Monument to the Carabinieri.”
Since I had the opportunity to visit the area,
I decided to explore the Royal Palace of Turin, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring the magnificent rooms of the House of Savoy,
the Royal Armoury, and the chapel housing the Holy Shroud.
そして、
近くを訪れたこともあり、
サヴォイア王家の絢爛豪華な部屋、武器庫、
そして聖骸布が収められた礼拝堂を擁する世界遺産「トリノ王宮」へ足を運びました。
圧巻であった武器庫。
The Royal Armoury was truly breathtaking.
実際に使われていた様々な武器の数々と共に、
当時の人々の魂の息遣いが感じられました。
Surrounded by the many weapons that were once actually used,
I could almost feel the spirit and presence of the people who lived in that era.

Into the gardens.
リスと遭遇。
人見知りせず、活発に動いていました。
I encountered a squirrel.
It was energetic and showed no fear of people.
古くから伝わるイタリア文化に触れ、
心を洗われるような思いとともに、大きなインスピレーションを受けました。
Experiencing the traditional culture of Italy,
preserved through the centuries, felt deeply refreshing to the soul and gave me tremendous inspiration.
実際に王宮や武器庫を訪れて感じたのは、
“実物からしか得られない感覚” の存在でした。
実際に数々の武器や鎧を目の前にすると、
その重量感、傷跡、空気感には全く別の迫力があります。
そこには単なる展示物ではなく、
確かにその時代を生きた人々の時間や息遣いが宿っているように感じられました。
現代は、あらゆる物事を効率化し、
より多くの情報を得て、
より多くを経験することを急いでいるように感じます。
しかしその一方で、私たちは “長い時間の中で物事を見る感覚” を、少しずつ失いつつあるのかもしれません。
何百年という時を超えて残されてきた建築や文化に触れることで、
効率やスピードだけでは測れない価値が、この世界には確かに存在していることを改めて感じました。
Actually visiting the royal palace and armoury made me realize the existence of something that can only be felt through the real thing itself.
Standing before the many weapons and suits of armor,
I was struck by a completely different sense of weight, scars, and atmosphere that simply cannot be conveyed through images alone.
They felt far more than mere exhibits; it was as if the time, presence,
and breath of the people who once lived in that era still remained within them.
Modern society seems increasingly focused on efficiency — trying to obtain more information and experience more things in less time.
Yet at the same time, we may gradually be losing our ability to view things through the perspective of a longer span of time.
By encountering architecture and culture that have endured for hundreds of years,
I was reminded that there are values in this world that cannot be measured solely by efficiency or speed.
